I have a confession. I am not sure that I am actually #1 in my category. But, I’m confident that I am high up on the list.
People ask if I am a business lawyer, investor, coach or entrepreneur? Yes. And, a husband, Dad and Patriots fan. I know, I know, we live in a niche world. Focus. I get it, and I focus somewhat through individual brands. But, I can do a lot, I understand a lot, and I fight boredom in my dreams. This all works for me, most days. I know a lot, but there’s a lot about a lot that I don’t know. I invite you to join me on my journey and to share with me some of yours.
This blog is about my journey. You will hear about my successes and my less-than-stellar moments. My goal is to be always honest, usually insightful, occasionally self-deprecating and never boring.
On the surface, my journey centers on sustaining my business legal and consulting practice, launching a new venture, and showing up daily for my wife and young daughter. At a deeper level, it’s about recovering from my left-brain orientation and making tough choices about how to spend my one wild, precious and, at times, confusing, life.
If you want to join me on the journey, pop your email in the box below. You will hear from me periodically, certainly not daily. I will never rent or sell your email to anyone. I hate spam, too. You can leave me at any time. I will miss you, but ‘tis better to have loved and lost …
I was named a finalist in the individual category for Austin-based nonprofit RecognizeGood’s 2016 Ethics in Business & Community Award.
